A NEW START
Originally, "Building 2" built by the orders of E.B Clark served as the main gem for the Celfor Tool company who then became Clark Equipment in 1916. This large construction project was taken on during a time when there was uncertainty of all aspects. With World War I still in full force, the world was in a very delicate state. It was such a big deal that the plant hosted a party in the building with over 4,000 people, reports of which traveled as far as Detroit, covered in the society pages of the Detroit Free Press.
Now, more than 105 years later, the building is getting a new start from a familiar beginning. 10,000 sq/ft of the building is in the process of being built out as an event venue.
